Our staff at Curley Dance Studio are experienced, passionate educators committed to nurturing each student’s unique talents. With diverse expertise in dance, singing, and acrobatics, they provide a supportive and encouraging environment for all students to thrive. Their dedication to fostering creativity and confidence ensures every student reaches their full potential both on and off the stage.

Miss Sam- Principal

Sam holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, along with a Certificate in Classical Dance, Diploma of Tap Dancing, and Certificate in Jazz Dancing through the Teachers of Australian Academy of Dancing. She is an associate member of the Australian Teachers of Dance and a member of Dance Arts Alliance. Sam has also completed Beginner and Intermediate training in AcroDance Australia and recently trained in Child Safety Standards with Keep Kids Safe in Dance. In addition to her qualifications, she holds a Level 2 First Aid/CPR certificate and is VIT registered.

In 2024, Sam completed her Preschool Acrobatics and Level 1 training with the Acrobatic Dance Association.

Outside the studio, Sam is a proud mother of three, with two of her children beginning their own dance journeys. She also continues her work as a secondary school teacher and volunteers with organizations like the DAISY Project, which supports new mothers as well as her local kindergarten.
